Notes:Aug 16, 08 - The town hall of Leuven (Louvain) is a landmark building on the city's Grote Markt (Main Market) square. Build in a Brabantine Late Gothic style between 1448 and 1469, it is famous for its ornate architecture, crafted in lace-like detail. BACKSIDE vegetal crown decors of laurel branches and the shield of " BRABANT" (province of the kingdom of Belgium). Unencrypted blank space left.
Heavily damaged by the German army during WW I when they were forced to leave.
